About
About Monsoon East
Monsoon East is the Bellevue outpost of one of Seattle's most awarded Vietnamese kitchens — a menu that reads like a modern Vietnamese cookbook without abandoning the traditions that made the family's original restaurant famous. Come hungry: the shareable plates are built for a table that likes to order everything.
Highlights
What makes it special
- Modern Vietnamese menu from an award-winning family kitchen
- Whole crispy fish and caramelized black cod as signature plates
- Herb-forward cocktail program built around Southeast Asian spirits
What you'll experience
The visit, in detail
Start with a plate of crispy drunken chicken and the shaking beef, then move to a whole crispy fish or the caramelized black cod. The cocktail program leans on Vietnamese herbs and Southeast Asian spirits; the wine list is short but built for the food. Service moves at a confident, unhurried pace.
Best time
When to visit
Book a table 6:30–8 pm; the room hits its best rhythm once the kitchen is fully open.
