Why you'll love it
An editor's take
AC Hotel Bellevue is the most stylistically confident of the downtown Marriott properties. Rooms lean spare and Mediterranean — dark millwork, tailored linens, purposeful lighting — and the ground-floor AC Lounge doubles as a legitimate destination for a gin & tonic and small plates rather than a filler lobby bar. For a business traveler stringing together meetings on 108th Avenue or a design-minded visitor who'd rather walk than valet, it hits a sweet spot Bellevue's bigger hotels miss.

What you'll experience
The visit, in detail
The property occupies a tight downtown block a short walk from Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square, and Bellevue Downtown Park. Check-in is efficient and unfussy — a small desk, a curated art wall, no crowded lobby scrum. Guest rooms use a restrained palette: charcoal, cream, matte black fixtures, and floor-to-ceiling windows that pull in downtown light and, on upper floors, Cascade sightlines.
The AC Lounge is the property's social center. Expect a European-style breakfast in the morning (croissants, Iberico ham, tortilla española) and a cocktail-forward menu in the evening. A 24-hour fitness room, business media salon, and enclosed valet parking round out the amenities.
Because the hotel sits on the eastern edge of the retail core, guests get the best of both sides: five minutes on foot to the Bellevue Collection's dining and shopping, five minutes the other direction to the Downtown Park's waterfalls and canal.
Best time
When to visit

Know before you go
Valet is standard and adds a nightly resort-style fee — self-park garages nearby offer cheaper day rates. AC Lounge breakfast is à la carte. Rooms trend compact by American standards — that's the AC brand's European DNA. Ask for a higher floor on the north or east side for the best mountain-and-park views.
