Hotels in Bellevue

Bellevue is a hotel town. Sixteen downtown properties within a ten-block radius means you can pick your night by budget, brand, or view — and every one of them is within a five-minute walk of the light rail station, Bellevue Square, and the twenty best restaurants in the city. This is the guide we send to friends who are coming for a wedding, a Microsoft interview, or a Seattle-adjacent weekend.

The Bellevue hotel scene splits neatly into three tiers. The luxury tier — W Bellevue, The Westin, Hyatt Regency, and the Bravern-adjacent properties — is Seattle-comparable in price and quality, often at a lower rate than a downtown Seattle room of the same brand. The upscale mid-tier — AC Hotel Bellevue, Hilton Bellevue, Sheraton Bellevue, Hyatt House — is the sweet spot for most visitors: $200 to $325 a night, walkable to everything, with the amenities you'd expect. The value tier — Courtyard Bellevue Downtown, Residence Inn, Silver Cloud, Coast Bellevue — runs $140 to $220 and is genuinely comfortable if you don't need a pool with a view.

A few things worth knowing. Nearly every downtown hotel charges a daily parking fee — $35 to $55 self-park, $50 to $65 valet — that is not included in the room rate. Free public parking is available at Bellevue Square (three hours validated) if you're only stopping in briefly. Most hotels offer complimentary shuttle service to Bellevue Downtown Station and, in some cases, to Sea-Tac Airport (call ahead — schedules vary).

We recommend downtown for first-time visitors. If you're here for a specific reason — Microsoft, a wedding at Newcastle, or a Sammamish family event — the outer neighborhoods have better-value chain properties, but you'll want a car.

Spring is the best value season — corporate travel is steady but leisure demand is soft, so rates at the W and the Westin routinely dip into the low $250s midweek.

Summer is peak season. Rates climb 20–30% across the board, and Fridays and Saturdays in July and August at the W, Ascend-adjacent properties, and The Westin can sell out three to four weeks ahead. Book early or shift midweek.

Fall is convention season at Meydenbauer Center — expect blocks on the downtown hotels when a major conference is running. Check the Meydenbauer calendar before you book.

Winter brings Snowflake Lane crowds from Thanksgiving through Christmas — downtown hotels are festive but full on the weekends leading up to the holiday. January and February are the quietest and cheapest months of the year.
