About
About Caffe Vivace
Caffe Vivace is the Bellevue extension of the Seattle roaster that helped define Pacific Northwest espresso culture — the roastery where David Schomer's Vita blend became a benchmark. The room stays classic, the espresso stays traditional, and the pace fits both a five-minute stop and a long conversation.
Highlights
What makes it special
- Vita blend — a Seattle espresso benchmark since the 1980s
- Traditional Italian espresso bar culture in a warm, unhurried room
- Comfortable back seating for laptops and long conversations
What you'll experience
The visit, in detail
The signature Vita blend pulls sweet and dense — order a doppio to taste it straight, or a Caffè Nico if you want something between a macchiato and a cortado. Regulars sit at the marble bar; laptop workers head for the back tables. Pastries and biscotti sit on the counter for the classic Italian pairing.
Best time
When to visit
Weekday mornings before 9 am for the fastest bar; weekend afternoons for the classic Italian café rhythm.
