Bellevue Club Hotel

Most hotels treat the gym as an afterthought — a windowless room with three treadmills off the elevator lobby. Bellevue Club Hotel inverts that. The hotel is 66 rooms and suites attached to the Bellevue Club, a 200,000-square-foot athletic and wellness facility, and hotel guests have access to it. That single relationship explains almost everything about who this property is for.

It sits at 11200 SE 6th Street, on the south side of downtown Bellevue and west of I-405, away from the skyline blocks where most of the city's hotels cluster around Bellevue Square. The trade is deliberate: less step-out-the-door retail, considerably more room, quiet, and greenery. If your ideal trip involves a morning swim, an afternoon massage, and dinner without moving your car, this is the Bellevue hotel built for it.

Rooms run larger than the downtown norm. The standard categories — Courtyard at 540 square feet, Premier at 520, Deluxe at 510 — are suite-scale by most brand standards, and some Premier rooms add a fireplace or a balcony. Above them are genuine suites: the Extended Stay Suite at 1,000 square feet and the Fountain and Rainier Suites at 1,200. Rooms include free wifi, a private bar, Indian cotton sheets, and down pillows.

The dining is on-campus and plural rather than a single hotel restaurant. Polaris, Cosmos, Splash, and the Market cover different registers; Cosmos is the upscale bar and lounge nearest the hotel lobby, which makes it the default for a drink you don't have to plan. For anything beyond that, the rest of the city is a short drive — the shops and restaurants at Bellevue Square, the lawn and pathways of Bellevue Downtown Park, and, further east, the Bellevue Botanical Garden.

What you should not expect is a convention hotel. There is no skybridge, no 700-room tower, no ballroom scaled to a trade show. This is a small independent property whose advantage is depth of facility rather than proximity to a convention floor. Choose it when the amenities are the point.

Arrival and orientation. The hotel stands at 11200 SE 6th Street, at the southern edge of downtown Bellevue and west of I-405, sharing its site with the Bellevue Club. The hotel and the Club are distinct operations under one roof line: you check in at the hotel, and your stay carries access to the Club's facilities. The rooms. Sixty-six rooms and suites, and the floor plans are unusually generous. Courtyard rooms are 540 square feet, Premier rooms 520, Deluxe rooms 510 — figures that read as junior suites at most downtown properties. A subset of Premier rooms includes a fireplace or a balcony. The suite tier is a real step up in space rather than a marketing label: the Extended Stay Suite is 1,000 square feet and the Fountain and Rainier Suites are 1,200. Standard in-room amenities include complimentary wifi, a private bar, Indian cotton sheets, and down pillows.

The athletic club. This is the reason to book here. The Bellevue Club runs to 200,000 square feet and, per the hotel's own guest information, a stay includes access to it: cardio and weight equipment, expert trainers, group fitness classes across four studios, and a wellness centre. Aquatics are the standout — two indoor pools, one outdoor pool, and a two-level whirlpool. The Club also houses tennis, basketball, racquetball, family recreation space, and The Links, an indoor virtual golf studio. Some individual services, courts, and classes operate on their own booking or fee terms, so confirm specifics with the Club when you arrive rather than assuming everything is included.

Spa and wellness. The property operates a full-service spa, with in-room massage available to guests. Treat it as the natural companion to the pools rather than an add-on: the swim-then-spa afternoon is the most distinctly Bellevue Club version of this stay.

Dining. Four venues sit on the campus. Cosmos is the upscale bar and lounge near the hotel lobby and is the closest thing to a hotel bar. Polaris and Splash serve as the seated and poolside-adjacent options, and the Market covers quick and casual. Between them you can eat every meal of a two-night stay without leaving the site — a rarer proposition in Bellevue than it sounds.

Meetings and events. The Club maintains event and wedding facilities on the property, and the combination of catering, dining venues, and guest rooms makes it a self-contained venue for smaller functions. Capacities and packages are arranged directly with the events team.

Getting around. The hotel runs a complimentary town car for guests, daily from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., first come first served and booked through the concierge. It's the practical answer to reaching downtown restaurants or Bellevue Square without moving your own vehicle, subject to availability at busy hours.
