Drive five blocks south from the towers and you're in another city. Old Bellevue is a slow tree-lined four-block stretch of Main Street, and it's where locals go when they want to remember why they live here.

Coffee & breakfast

  • Belle Pastry for the croissant.
  • Cafe Cesura for the espresso.
  • Tea Bar for the matcha.

Lunch

  • Bis on Main for a real bistro lunch.
  • Anjin for ramen.
  • Mr. West for a counter sandwich.

Shopping

  • Sur La Table flagship.
  • Ruby Brown for home and gifts.
  • Local boutiques that change too often to name — that's the point.

Dinner

  • Bis on Main at dusk with a window seat.
  • El Gaucho if you want a special occasion.

Slow walks

Park anywhere on 100th. Walk Main from 102nd to 105th and back. Done in 90 minutes including coffee.

Old Bellevue is also the easiest connection from Downtown Park — five minutes on foot south.
