Accessibility, verified

Every walking route on BellevueExplorer publishes seven verified accessibility fields, per the Walking Route Standard v1.0.

Wheelchair

Fully wheelchair accessible end to end. All venues on this route have step-free entrances and elevator access to every floor. At Meydenbauer Center, accessible arrival is through the venue garage (entrance midblock on NE 6th Street): accessible stalls sit beside the building elevators, with step-free access to the Theatre on Level 2. Two oversize accessible spaces are held at the Bravern garage with a lift — arrange those in advance with the Theatre Services Manager.

Surface

Smooth concrete sidewalks throughout. NE 6th Street's north side has the widest, most consistent walking surface.

Elevation

Effectively flat. Under 30 feet of total elevation change; the only mild grade is the descent to Old Bellevue.

Benches

Frequent seating inside Lincoln Square, Bellevue Square, and Meydenbauer Center's concourse; benches every 200–300 feet along the route.

Restrooms

Accessible public restrooms at Bellevue Arts Museum, Lincoln Square, Bellevue Square, and Meydenbauer Center (every floor).

Transit

Bellevue Downtown Station (East Link light rail) is a five-minute walk from any stop; RapidRide B Line stops at the Bellevue Transit Center a block from Meydenbauer.

Stroller

Stroller friendly throughout. Elevators at every indoor venue; no stairs required at any point on the route.
